You Can Build a Better Community!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity! There are many opportunities to for you to involved and we are thankful for the enthusiasm, time and talents of each volunteer who enables us to better serve our families. To volunteer please complete the Volunteer Information Form and submit it to our office via mail, fax, or drop off. For additional questions please contact Jason Davies at 979-823-7200 ext. 114.

Construction Volunteering
Volunteers are needed on the construction site Tuesday-Saturday, 8am-5pm. Walk up volunteers are accepted Tuesday-Friday, but must work one of three shifts (8am-12pm, 12:20pm-5pm, or 8am-5pm). To volunteer on Saturday, you must be put on the schedule with the Volunteer Coordinator.

Construction Site Host
A Construction Site Host serves as the volunteer host at the construction site. This opportunity requires a time commitment of one Saturday per month. Duties include but are not limited to: set up sign-in and refreshment tables, set out supplies, greet volunteers as they arrive, assist volunteers with sign-in and completion of volunteer information forms, remind volunteers to sign-out when leaving and thank them for coming.

Habitat ReStore Volunteering
The Habitat ReStore is in need of volunteers to assist customers, restock the warehouse, and sort donations. The ReStore offers to pick up donations from customers, so volunteer help is needed in this area as well. Volunteers are needed Monday-Friday 9:30 AM-5:00 PM as well as on Saturdays 9:00AM-3:00 PM.

Office Volunteering
Habitat is in need of volunteers to help in the office Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. Office volunteers assist with answering phones, greeting visitors, preparing mailings, and managing various clerical tasks around the office.

Lunch Providers
Are you looking for an opportunity to give back to the community while doing something you enjoy? To show appreciation to the hard working construction volunteers, B/CS Habitat provides lunch Tuesday-Saturday. Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator if you are interested in making a sack lunch for a work crew of 20-30 volunteers.

Landscape Volunteering
Habitat is in need of landscaping help around the office building. This would require a commitment of a few hours once every other week to help maintain the lawn and flowerbeds at the Habitat office. Habitat has all the supplies and tools needed!

Spanish Translators
Many Habitat families are Spanish speaking only. Bilingual volunteers are needed to help translate Habitat materials, as well as interpret at meeting and trainings.
