Andy joined BCS Habitat in September 2013 and has served as Director of ReStore and Director of Finance. He graduated from Texas A&M with degrees in accounting and finance. Before joining Habitat, he spent seven years in operations management at a local retirement community. Andy is excited about the many years to come of serving families in the Bryan/College Station area through partnerships for affordable housing.

Homebuyer Services, Government Relations & Advocacy Staff

Homebuyer Services manages all homeownership applications, services the mortgages and works with all levels of government and our local community to help us understand and address the housing challenges families face in Brazos County. Charles joined BCS Habitat in 2015 and brings experience from Peace Corps, US State Department and the construction industry. He graduated from Clemson University and Texas A&M’s George Bush School. Felipa joined the BCS Habitat team in January 2014 and helps each family through the homebuying application process. She has an associate’s degree in business from Blinn College. Working close with the Habitat for Humanity families is one of her favorite things about working for this organization.

Carl joined BCS Habitat in September of 2013 and brings experience from a 20-year career in sales and marketing in the radio and television industry. Carl is a graduate of Blinn College and is currently attending Texas A&M University where he hopes to earn a degree in Human Resource Development. As a life-long resident of Bryan, Carl enjoys helping Habitat families realize their dream of owning their own home.

Julie joined B/CS Habitat in August 2013 and brings experience from Heartland Habitat in Kansas, AmeriCorps and Habitat for Humanity International. Julie has a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the University of Kansas.

David Hatteberg

David joined the BCS Habitat team in August of 2017 and brings experience from Grace Bible Church where he advocated for nonprofits throughout Bryan/College Station. He graduated from Texas A&M with a BA in Philosophy focusing on Social and Political Philosophy. He has walked alongside families served by BCS Habitat for several years through Youth Impact, a mentorship program. Having heard their stories, David is ecstatic to advocate for affordable homeownership by helping moms and dads provide a safe home in which to raise their family.

She brings experience from InnerChange in Venezuela and degrees from University of California Berkeley in Psychology and Ethnic studies and from Eastern University in International Economic Development. As a Bryan native, Jane enjoys sharing the story of B/CS Habitat with the community she has come home to.

As a Bryan native, she appreciates the opportunity to give back and help create a brighter future for families in our community.

Our finance and administration staff ensures that BCS Habitat for Humanity will be able to continue our mission until it’s accomplished! Tanya joined the BCS Habitat team in April of 2018.  Since graduating in 2005 with her degree in accounting, she has gained experience in non-profit, governmental and corporate industries. Tanya believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to have a safe and affordable home and is passionate about the opportunity to serve and strengthen our community by helping families achieve this goal.

Property, Construction, Repair and Volunteer Staff

Nathan loves working for Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity; he began as a student worker back in October of 2011 and has worked hard to become a full-time staff member. Nathan is a father to his beautiful daughter Alexandra. When Nathan isn’t busy building homes and hope, he is working toward a bachelor’s degree in business at Texas A&M, with minors in physics and mathematics.

Madeline graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Agricultural Leadership and Development. From a young age, volunteering has been important in Madeline’s life and she enjoys connecting with the community and doing purposeful work. She believes that there’s nothing more rewarding then seeing the faces of all the families we have served when they receive the keys to their new home.

ReStore Staff

ReStore staff run our local ReStore. If you’ve never been, you should check it out! ReStores sell donated furniture, home appliances and decor. All funds raised go back to funding Habitat for Humanity homes and providing affordable homeownership to families in Bryan and College Station!
