Habitat may take volunteers on a limited basis at its office Monday-Friday during regular office hours. Availability of volunteer positions depends upon the volunteer’s background, skills and abilities (Spanish fluency is always in high demand). Office volunteers assist with answering phones, greeting visitors, preparing mailings and managing various clerical tasks around the office.

Intern with Habitat

Unpaid internships are also offered throughout the year in most departments. Internships can be full-time or part-time, depending on the needs of the intern. Habitat departments include: Administration (Family Service, Administration, and Finance), ReStore, Development (Grants Writing, and General Resource Development, Marketing), Construction, Volunteer Management, Communications.
