pei wei supports aggie habitatAggie Habitat for Humanity is a critical part of the Habitat family in B/CS. Their four main functions are:

Educating the A&M campus about poverty housing in our area and how Habitat partners with families to purchase their own home

Volunteering on Habitat’s construction site and in the ReStore and getting others on campus involved

Advocating on Habitat’s behalf on the local, state and federal level and making their voices heard

Fundraising on campus to ensure more families are able to own a simple, decent and affordable home.

Aggie Habitat has done an amazing job over the years making sure all of these functions are thriving each semester. Next Wednesday (4/6) from 11am-9pm show your support of their efforts and have some delicious food! Pei Wei has graciously offered to donate 20% of the sales to Aggie Habitat’s fundraising goals for the semester. Bring the flyer with you and make sure to tell your table neighbors as well!

If you would like to get to know some of the Aggie Habitat members and see some of the cool things they do on campus, join us for the opening ceremony for Shack-A-Thon on Monday, April 11 at 6:30 at Rudder Fountain on the A&M campus. Shack-A-Thon is a week-long advocacy event that will bring awareness to students who may have never been exposed to what poverty housing looks like. Congratulations to Aggie Habitat for all of their success!
