Global Village is a Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) program that creates opportunities for volunteers to build overseas for one to three weeks with families in need and local volunteers.

This year, B/CS Habitat for Humanity will be leading a team of volunteers to Panajachel, Guatemala to partner with Solola Habitat for Humanity, a Habitat affiliate in Guatemala. Dates for the trip are December 9th to the 17th. The team will travel to Guatemala to provide Healthy Homes Kits to partner families in Guatemala. This includes installing water filters and building smokeless stoves and latrines. These Healthy Home Kits significantly improve the overall health of a home and allow Habitat to serve more families sooner.
