Day at the Dome 2019
January 29, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 5:30 pm CST
Join Bryan-College Station Habitat for Humanity, Habitat Texas and other affiliates from across the state of Texas for a day of advocacy at the Texas State Capitol! You’ll attend a workshop on housing and meet with your local legislative officials. You’ll also get to swing a hammer with legislators and build the walls for a future Habitat for Humanity home. The home you help build will belong to a family affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Our mission is a Texas where everyone has a decent place to live. We can’t fulfill this mission with donations alone, that’s why we need to improve housing policies and prioritize affordability for our neighbors. We need your help to bring housing to the forefront of the 86th session of the Texas Legislature.
Register through Habitat Texas, but please let us know you plan to join!
