Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity needs you! Our first-ever Youth Playhouse Build is a two-day event designed to engage youth ages 7 to 15 who are unable to volunteer on our construction sites because of safety regulations.
Together, we will construct and decorate playhouses for low-income families in our community. We will also raise funds to help sponsor a Habitat home through an awareness and fundraising campaign. During the orientation, participants will be addressing a pre-drafted letter to send to friends and family, highlighting the project and asking them to donate to this worthy cause. To support our efforts, Sterns Design Build has generously given us a matching grant – for every dollar raised, Sterns Design Build will match up to $3,000!
Below are details for each day of the event. We promise that you’ll learn things you never knew before, take part in a fundraising campaign, get hands-on experience building and, most of all, have a ton of fun!
