Jackson Randolph, a senior finance major at Texas A&M University, volunteered his time and skills with Habitat this summer by working with the Interim Executive Director to complete our organization’s budget. Below is a letter Habitat staff received from Mr. Randolph at the close of his internship.

Dear Andy and the rest of the Habitat family,

The opportunity you provided me this summer to work at Habitat for Humanity has impacted me in a profound way that I could never have predicted. Not only was it a chance for me to practice the skills I have been learning in school, but it was also a time of personal growth and development. Working with a group of people who have dedicated so much of their lives toward helping others has shown me the characteristics I want to develop in myself.

Thank you for taking the time to teach me and being a true mentor. I am very much looking forward to volunteering on construction this fall!

Best regards and Gig ’em,
Jackson Randolph
