Texas A&M President R. Bowen Loftin kicked off the the wall raising for a new Habitat for Humanity home in Bryan on Saturday morning, October 5.
The home is sponsored by BUILD, a new Texas A&M student organization. BUILD’s mission is to unify the A&M student body through a physically challenging, large-scale project each semester. BUILD was established in honor of the Spirit of Aggieland. Read more about BUILD in The Eagle.
The future homeowner of this house is Marisa Vasquez, a single mother of three young boys. You can read more about her family here.
